General Reinsurance Australia (a subsidiary of General Re Corporation) is seeking to appoint a Human Resources Consultant.
Working with a group of highly intelligent and engaged insurance professionals, you will be involved in providing the full spectrum of generalist HR services. Your primary responsibilities will be managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and induction for new employees, liaising with our external payroll provider to administer the monthly payroll, advising and coaching employees and managers, administering expatriate assignments, identifying and organising workplace health and safety initiatives, coordinating learning and development activities, and participating in remuneration benchmarking and analysis.
Additionally, you will use your relationship building skills as the role develops into business partnering. There will also be the opportunity to make improvements to our local processes and work on projects from time-to-time.
